Installing Windows 95

I've currently got Windows 95 installing on Virtual PC (a fine piece of software that Microsoft bought up - the excellent innovators that they are) because I've had a support call for a school running Windows 95.
This is a domestic (at best) operating system that's 10 years old. Christ Himself only knows what spec it is. They don't stand a chance, but I can't tell them that, because the label foolishly states Windows 95 on the front.
Anyway, I'd forgotten about the woeful propaganda that the install forced into your eyes - like the above example... I'd also forgotten that the installation shell was based on Windows 3.1. And I always forget that Unix-style commands don't work on Windows boxes, and right now I miss - as the installer claims to be unable to see the CD-ROM - being able to use virtual terminals like on my plethora of Linux boxen.
Yes, I'm a geek, but that's what I'm paid for.
