Something stinks at Linux Today

DistroWatch.com had this at the top of their front page:

We urge our visitors to boycott LINUXTODAY.COM. LINUXTODAY.COM is currently sponsored by Microsoft Corporation and displays sponsored anti-Linux content on its web site. We consider this practice immoral and hypocritical for a web site that acts as a Linux advocacy resource. PLEASE DO NOT VISIT LINUXTODAY.COM.

I had to see it with my own eyes. Now you don't have to go there to see it, because I grabbed what was there. It's something beyond. Click for bigness.

I won't link to the site itself, otherwise it might think it's popular. But this stinks like a month-old haddock! When Microsoft are sponsoring a section of a Linux news website, all credibility of that website is gone. Pffft. Just like that. Linux Insider seems to have gone this same route, what with Microsoft's money paying the Yankee Group and their minions...

Hey ho. At least my new, Ubuntu Linux-themed blog won't go that way. =)
